I really enjoyed my chicken shawarma wrap! It was a great meal at a reasonable price. The chicken portion was very generous. I got the garlic sauce on the side because I was not sure if I would like it but it was great (not overwhelmingly garlicky). I also got tzatziki sauce and that was great on it as well. The wrap came with a ton of chicken, cabbage, and pickles. It also came with a salad. The salad was fresh but tasted like there was no dressing. I would recommend they put the dressing on the side so you can add what you want, and also especially with takeout orders so that it doesn't get soggy. I look forward to trying more items! I'd definitely get this again.

I was there a few weeks ago with some family and friends The food was good and delicious , the service was great and the ambiance was also fantastic, you can dine inside or they also have a big and spacious patio The owners ( the brother and sister) are some of the friendliest Persian people you can find , I will definitely will go back and I also recommend this place to everyone who likes Persian and Mediterranean food

Love this place. Great food! The lemonades are refreshing and full of flavor. The Falafels are tasty and full of comfort!

Our first time trying Mediterranean cuisine. Awesome time here at Pom & Olive on Bristol St and Red Hill Ave. Party of three on a Sunday around noon. Not busy at all around those times. Limited parking, clean, well light and well organized restaurant, full bar available (Beer, wine, cocktails, etc.) Staff is quiet but still friendly and welcoming. Very kind and respectful waiter. Very helpful, especially since we needed some time to make our choices. Food is of high quality and good quantity, prices are good also. Our service was quick and accurate. Very delicious food, my combination platter was delicious, and my watermelon lemonade drink was nice and refreshing. We had three desserts, loved their Tiramisu and their Saffron Ice Cream!!! Definitely a place to come back to!

Tonight was our first night dining at Pom & Olive. I 100% recommend this spot to anyone (especially vegetarians)! The meals were fresh and delicious! Service was excellent as well. We ordered 6 plates of food (which we never do). "I wish I had my room for dessert." - My Fiancé Thank you Pom & Olive! We'll certainly be back.

Non-likes: none. Tip: . Yelp check-in for a free side of pita fries. I had: $5 pomegranate limeade + $16 bake lamb shank + 7.75% tax = $22.63

Went on a Thursday evening for dinner with a girlfriend to catch up. It was a random pick when I entered healthy food in the area. Let me tell you this food was so fresh and delicious. The pita fries were a bonus as an appetizer. It was very kind of them to bring them out as we waited a little longer for service, but they did get a bit of a rush for dinner. I had the chicken Shawarma Wrap and it's one of the best I had! Very juicy and tender chicken, oh and the portions sizes are great! Not stingy in the meats! Nice clean spacious place for a group. We will definitely be back to try so much more of their menu.

It's not much too look at from the outside, and when you walk inside the interior and decor is very dated, and old, but the food is delicious! We walked in and we were the only ones in there, and it felt a little weird, but more people started coming in. You can order everything family style and that's what we did. We got a bunch of appetizers and an entree to share, although one entree is enough to fill you up! Each appetizer ranges from $5-10. - Dolmas - delicious, heavily stuffed grape leaves with rice and meat, and served with refreshing tzatziki sauce! - Samosas - great curry flavor! - Spicy garlic fries/potatoes - definitely something good to snack on! We got the combination platter ($16) which came with beef and chicken shawarma, falafel, basmati rice, hummus, pita bread, and a salad. No frills, homemade delicious Mediterranean flavor. Really enjoyed this comforting dish. Overall, affordable and delicious!

What a value this place offers! Really good Mediterranean food at fast food or Denny's prices. The most expensive item here is the lamb chops at just over $20. We dined here with a party of ten and the food was all well received. 3 of us love lamb and tried some of their offerings. The lamb shank and lamb chops were both very good. Portions are a good size. Not too much so you have room for a starter and dessert. Start with a cocktail. They aren't strong but they are cheap enough to have two. At this writing they are all $10. Our server Sheila was the best and really worked with us and accommodated our needs. She had good suggestions on what to order. But everyone here is sincerely working hard. We had a number of starters that were very good. And save room for dessert- tiramisu, Persian ice cream and baklava. The Costa Mesa location is pretty spacious and it doesn't get loud.
